1. The idea of usage of pollution-clean fuel has been actively promulgated in Europe (in the world) at the beginning of 1990-s. The first plant in the world for producing of biodiesel fuel was built in Olmul in 1991. According to EurObserver for 2002, the production of pollution-clean fuel increased up to 10 times.

2. Since the end of 90-s of XX century production of pollution-clean fuel has been practiced as official policy. In White Paper of European Commission "Sources of energy prevailing in the future power industry” strategy according to which alternative sources should replace 20% of diesel fuel and petrol are defined. In particular, the task is to achieve unit weight of biodiesel fuel from 2% in 2005 up to 5,75% in 2010.

3. The legislation promoting to production of biomass fuel and its usage has been adopted in EU countries therefore biodiesel fuel is spread in many European countries. For instance Germany produces about 1 million 300 thousand of ton a year, France – 780 thousand ton , Poland – 230 thousand ton. Lithuania and Byelorussia are actively involved in this process.

4. As well as diesel fuel, biomass fuel is intended for automobiles and agricultural engineering with diesel engines. It is no need to modernize engine and another systems for usage of this fuel. Burnt gas of such automobiles after usage of such fuel, according to some evidence is cleaner than automobiles with diesel fuel. Furthermore biodiesel fuel (for example, poured) is broken into components which have no negative effect for environment. Due to reason that it is produced not from oil products but plant oil.

5. Rape oil which is the cheapest among plant oil is used to receive biodiesel fuel. But biodiesel fuel can be produced from sunflower, corn oil and any kind of raw oil.
